Lives in Focus is a website of The Lives in Focus Project Inc., a non-profit media company that uses video, audio and photographs to present the voices and stories of those who are rarely given space or time in traditional news media. Family Life Behind Bars is a project of Lives in Focus.

The company, based in New York, is in the process of gaining 501(c)(3) status (tax-exempt status) from the Internal Revenue Service. It was founded in 2005 by Sandeep Junnarkar.
