My mother was in prison for about 10 years. I was 10 went she went in and 20 when she got out. We couldn’t afford to go see her too often and I never got close to her. I can’t remember…or i have no way of Knowing if she changed. Probably I changed more than she did. My life changed so much while she was in prison.
